We have successfully snowed ourselves in here at Snowshoe. There was much worry that the big storm had missed us, but we got a nice deposit of new snow last night. Ava loves skiing! Its funny though she is equally happy making snow angels or playing on a mound of snow with the other kids. I took a video of her first run without me holding her. So far she refuses to snow plow. She just charges straight down the hill and if she wants to stop, she sits down. We go out on the main green slopes and she holds on to my skipole while I snow plow to control our speed. We even figured out how to get on and off the big lift with her.
