Last time the US Open was held at Olympic Club, Georgia Tech student Matt Kuchar threatened the lead for two days before settling in for a 14th place finish and low amateur score. Sunday’s final round was on his 20th birthday and also on father’s day. His dad served as his caddie for the tournament.
